Charles Heidsieck was the original ‘Champagne Charlie’ and this is still a real wine-lover’s champagne. It’s a frequent award winner and took the Decanter World Wine Awards trophy in 2009. It has a round full texture and notes of tropical fruit and spice. A great aperitif but would also work well with Chinese dishes.
